About The Counselor
My name is Kelly Ray. I am a passionate follower of Christ, a wife to a wonderful musician and a blessed mama of three beautiful children that mean the absolute world to me. Our two precious pups bring so much joy.
We are NY natives who journeyed to KY to make more friends, kingdom connections, and to sip strawberry lemonade on our porch. We love it y’all.

My Credentials: I am an ordained minister and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. I hold a Bachelor of Theology and a Masters degree in Counseling from Summit Bible College.
I am a Kentucky Pastoral Counselor in supervision, a certified Neuropsychotherapist, EMDR practitioner, DBT, grief, and clinical trauma therapist. I have received certification in group therapy, CBT therapy, Somatic therapy, Domestic Abuse Advocacy, career counseling, suicide assessment and intervention.
My personal therapy approach includes: Talk therapy, holistic therapy, spiritual integrated therapy, mindfulness techniques and more. I specialize in women’s issues and help women of faith who are dealing with issues related to:

What Christian Counseling Can Do For You
Christian counseling can help with an array of struggles like depression or anxiety, relational problems, or behavioral issues. The goal of Christian counseling is not simply overcoming pain, but to help individuals move to personal wholeness, interpersonal competence, mental stability and spiritual maturity.
Christian counseling is the process in which a professional counselor uses scripturally sound mental health tools, the truths of the Bible, and the wisdom of life experience to help those in need. It is dedicated to providing professional counseling services that integrate mind, body, and spirit. It aims to bring people to relational wholeness with God, self, and others. God is the ultimate healer and professional Biblical counseling is one avenue God can work through in the process of healing and change.
Session Structure and Style
It is our desire to bolster your faith through every counseling, coaching, or discipleship session. The Well Woman healing and growth process strives to strengthen every woman’s position in the drivers seat of her life. Though the counselor may be in charge of providing the backdrop of the session dynamics, the counselee is in control of how they want the progression through those dynamics to go.
In Counseling we focus on building firm foundations and healing wounds of the past. Coaching promotes forward focus and goal oriented self growth. Discipleship is the most spiritually oriented modality out of the three structures we use. It incorporates aspects of both counseling and coaching but also includes spiritual ministry such as prayer, declarations, scripture application and other Christian ordinances for breakthrough and empowerment to fulfill the call of God on your life.
Over the course of our relationship we are likely to talk through your important life matters as I ask questions, track progress, offer potential strategies, provide helpful resources or tools, and make necessary professional referrals. Whether you want to gain scriptural insight, acquire new skills, evaluate, pray, cry, vent, or even sit quietly, our session is your time and it’s your choice!
